Volunteer: Do you have a special skill or trade? Are you part of a group looking for a project? Memory Care Home Solutions is always looking for individuals and groups to partner for long and short term projects.
Help us create The Center: Together we can reach caregivers who need us – before it’s too late. Our vision for THE CENTER is a cutting edge permanent home where we’ll expand our reach by serving caregivers though training, information, support and camaraderie not only with other caregivers but also with experts in the field of memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
Gifts of $1,000 or more made to THE CENTER up to $300,000 will be matched by the Horncrest Foundation, thus doubling your impact and bringing Memory Care Home Solutions closer to the day when each caregiver has the support they need. Donate your time, talent or funds to this incredible vision!
Memorial/Tribute Gifts: Does a loved one or friend have a special occasion coming up? Would you like to honor the life of someone who has passed away? All donations made in honor of ANY occasion will be used to directly impact the lives of those we serve. A letter will be mailed to notify the individual or family you are honoring of this special gift. Special donation envelopes are available for distribution. Make sure we have all needed information! Home Safety Item Drive: Host an item drive in your place of work, worship, with your family or community group. The caregivers we serve are in constant need of items to assist in keeping their loved ones safe. Cabinet locks, door alarms, non-skid mats and more can be collected and donated. Consider replacing your annual gift swap with an item drive – or host a party and “charge” one item for admission.
Community Outreach: Memory Care Home Solutions is looking for individuals to assist with setting up and giving presentations in the community.
Schnucks e-scrip Program: Sign up at your local Schnucks or contact us and we will get a registered card in the mail to you. Hand your card to the cashier before you pay and Memory Care Home Solutions automatically receives a donation equal to 3% of your monthly purchases from Schnucks – at no cost to you! Recruit family and friends to participate.
Talk and Tour/Lunch and Learn: Join Memory Care Home Solutions (and invite a friend!) for an hour and a half presentation about our Mission and Programs. Light meal included. This program is also available on the road – you provide the group and place - we provide the presentation and educational materials.
Memories and Melodies: THE event of the year! Held in early November each year - this is our organization's biggest fundraiser! Sponsorship Opportunities and Ads in the printed evening program are available and items for the silent auction are deeply appreciated. A Planning Committee is forming now; your expertise is needed! If you are not able to help plan or sponsor, give us a call and make sure your name is on the list for an invite.
Host an Event: Do you have a group just waiting for something meaningful to do? Host an event to support Memory Care Home Solutions! You choose the date, time and event – and let us know what we can do to help!
