Memory Care Home Solutions celebrated the 4th Annual Memories and Melodies event in style with an evening filled with entertainment provided by The Muny, St. Louis celebrities and honoring those who have helped the organization in very special ways in the last year. Held on November 11th at the Chase Park Plaza in the Starlight Room and attended by over 300 supporters, the event brought in over $200,000 - a record breaking success.
Dr. William A. Peck presented the high honor of the evening – the Memory Care Home Solutions Alzheimer’s Community Service Award – to Mary Lee and Bob Hermann. Memory Care Home Solutions presents the award each year to individuals or entities who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment and advocacy for the welfare, health and education of the St. Louis community.
“Memory Care Home Solutions is the fortunate recipient of Mary Lee and Bob’s time, mentoring, financial support, compassion and dedication to the cause of those caring for loved ones with memory loss, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease,” stated the organization’s Founder and Executive Director, Lisa Baron.
Al Wiman presented the organization’s Volunteer of the Year Award to the six members of the event’s Planning Committee: Nicole Holst - Event Chair, Anne Justice, Mona Green, Lila Shepley and Emily Irving.
